XinXing Academy, Hopkins Public Schools' Chinese immersion program, was
featured on Channel 12's news broadcast on Tuesday, Nov. 10. The story,
"Local district a leader in Chinese immersion" included video of
student lessons and information about a five-year $1.4 million grant
Hopkins received to further enhance the program.
Chinese is a practical language to learn, given that China is the
world's most populous nation and it has many political and economic
ties with the U.S.
