West Junior High Friday Videos are the weekly videos featuring our students and staff engaged in activities that are meaningful, amusing, and moving. We invite you to enjoy the famed Friday Videos, an important part of Hopkins West's culture of creativity.
Is it art? This age-old question was considered by students in the eighth-grade elective, Twentieth Century Art. Studying the work of British graffiti artist, Banksy, the students explored the relationship between street art, and work that one might see in a gallery or museum.
Armed with good will and hard work, nearly 1000 members of the Hopkins West Junior High community volunteered approximately 2500 hours to at least 19 non-profit organizations on October 21, 22, and 23. The three-day event brought students, teachers, and parents together in an effort to give back to the community.
